Plan A Visit

The Palm Springs Historical Society is located on The Village Green in a lovely park-like setting amid the hotels, shops and restaurants of legendary Palm Canyon Drive.

We offer both guided and self-guided tours. For Group Tours and School Visits to make the most of your visit please call ahead. This will help to tailor the Museum experience to meet your needs.

Free parking is available in the parking lot behind the Museums off of South Belardo Rd., between Arenas Rd. and Baristo Rd. There is also free street parking throughout the city and a covered parking garage off of Baristo Rd. between South Palm Canyon and South Indian Avenue.






Museum Hours

Wednesday - 10am to 4pm
Thursday - 10am to 4pm
Friday - 10am to 4pm
Saturday - 10am to 4pm
Sunday - 12noon to 3pm

The Museums are closed Monday, Tuesday and during the summer months June through Sept except by appointment. The office is open during this time and staff is available for questions and requests.


Admission is free to the museum. Your generous donations are welcome.

Policies and Rules

Please keep in mind the delicate nature and irreplaceable value of the materials in the Museum and kindly follow these rules when visiting:
-No cameras, no taking photos and no video is allowed.
-Cell phones turned off.
-No Food or Drink, including chewing gum.
-Theft will be prosecuted by law, you may be subject to search before departure.
-No touching Museum items unless indicated otherwise and the items are protected.
